Presto 06852 16-Inch Electric Skillet with Glass Cover Review
I purchased this skillet to replace my old one that was 12x12. For a family of five, this skillet is certainly the answer. It is also big enough to replace my electric griddle, which was also worn out, so even though the skillet is bigger than my old one, I am able to replace two appliances with it. The deep sides and see through lid make cooking in it a joy. Clean up is easy especially if you have a sprayer at your sink. I haven't found a place for it in my cabinets yet because I use it all the time. Another advantage over some of the other models of this size, the temperature control actually has temperature settings, not just low, medium and high.

This skillet is large, making it nice to make meals for large amounts of people. The temperature is easily adjusted with the dial.
We have had no problems with anything sticking to it.

Purchased a Presto frying pan and when it was delivered via UPS i opened the box and found that a decal on the glass lid was affixed not only upside down but applied to the under side of the lid and i was concerned that chemicals might mix with food. I called the same day and talked with Amazon customer service department and told them of the lid problem and they told me i would have to call Presto as it was their quality problem. I called Presto and they wanted the serial and model numbers and once i supplied them they said the item was out of date and nothing could be done. I said how could i buy a product from Amazon have it delivered, call in a complaint the same day and be told that it was not under any warranty. They said apparently Amazon was not rotating their inventory correctly. I called back to Amazon and was told once again that the problem was with the manufactor. I have considered filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the NC Attorny General's Office and asking for advise from my attorney. At this point i would not advise anyone doing business with either company.

I have been using electric skillets for years.This is just the right size and the non stick coating is great.I would recommend this skillet for anyone who loves easy cooking.

I love this skillet. It heats up super fast and cooks evenly and thoroughly. It cleans up super easy. I have used the skillet to make everything from eggs, pancakes to hamburgers and steaks.
